Nexium 24HR (Esomeprazole) 120mg-20 Tablets- is a prescription medication used to treatexcessive bodybuilders' loss of muscle mass and strength.Nexium is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) medication that works by reducing the amount of acid produced by the stomach and esophagus. It is often prescribed for post-menopausal women who do not want to use PPI medications. Nexium is classified as a proton pump inhibitor (PPI), meaning it blocks the pumps that are responsible for acid production in the body. By doing so, it increases the amount of acid that the body makes, resulting in a reduction in the amount of fat that is absorbed during a meal. Nexium is often used to prevent heartburn and other stomach problems caused by excessive stomach acid. However, it can also be used to prevent heartburn that occur during certain types of meals. It is important to consult a healthcare professional before starting Nexium 24HR to ensure it is the right medication for your specific needs.
Benefits of Nexium 24HR
A new study suggests that the most common prescription medication for heartburn that Americans take today is Nexium 24HR (esomeprazole). The study found that 24 hours of use of the drug, which was used for 14 days, is associated with a reduced risk of heartburn (2.8 percent versus 0.8 percent) and a decreased risk of esophageal cancer (2.2 percent versus 0.9 percent).
In the study, the researchers compared the use of Nexium 24HR with that of ranolazine and found that the combination had a greater risk of esophageal cancer than ranolazine alone. The findings of this study suggest that taking Nexium 24HR might be more appropriate for the treatment of acid-related gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) because of its longer duration of action compared to ranolazine.
The study, published in the Journal of Gastroenterology, showed that the use of ranolazine and Nexium 24HR was associated with a reduced risk of esophageal cancer, heartburn, and ulcers. The findings were based on a meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials in which Nexium 24HR was compared to ranolazine, and there was no overall difference in the risk of esophageal cancer between the two groups. The researchers also found that taking Nexium 24HR increased the risk of esophageal cancer, heartburn, and ulcers in the ranolazine group compared with the Nexium 24HR group. They also found that taking Nexium 24HR reduced the risk of esophageal cancer in the ranolazine group compared with Nexium 24HR.
Nexium 24HR may be more appropriate for patients who are at an increased risk of developing ulcers or GERD. However, it is not known if this finding applies to the other two drugs that are used to treat acid reflux disease (GERD).
In a separate study, the researchers also found that patients who used Nexium 24HR for 14 days were less likely to develop esophageal cancer (2.8 percent versus 0.8 percent) than those who used ranolazine alone. They also found that the combination of Nexium 24HR and ranolazine was associated with a reduced risk of esophageal cancer. They also found that taking Nexium 24HR reduced the risk of esophageal cancer in the ranolazine group compared with the ranolazine group.
In the current study, the researchers used data from the Prostate Cancer Prevention Trial (PCPT) to examine the protective effect of 24HR on esophageal cancer risk among patients with a history of esophagus cancer. They also used data from the Randomized Aldactone Evaluation and Research (RALES) in which 20,000 men who had a primary esophageal cancer were randomly assigned to either daily use of ranolazine, Nexium 24HR, or a combination of ranolazine and Nexium 24HR. They found that the ranolazine group had a lower risk of esophageal cancer (adjusted hazard ratio, 0.66; 95 percent confidence interval, 0.49 to 1.00;P<0.0001) and a lower risk of esophageal cancer (adjusted hazard ratio, 0.59; 95 percent confidence interval, 0.32 to 1.01;<0.0001) compared with the Nexium 24HR group. This study is also the first study of its kind that uses the findings of this study. In addition, the researchers also found that the combined use of Nexium 24HR and ranolazine was associated with a reduced risk of esophageal cancer in the ranolazine group compared with the Nexium 24HR group.
The authors caution that the findings of this study do not prove that a combination of Nexium 24HR with ranolazine is more appropriate than a single treatment for heartburn or esophageal cancer. They also said that the findings of this study suggest that the combination of ranolazine with Nexium 24HR may be more appropriate for patients who are at an increased risk of developing esophageal cancer.
